The Donnelly lab attended the 49th annual Society for Neuroscience Conference in Chicago October 19th - 23rd. Dr. Amanda Gleixner and "Almost Dr." Jacob Mann presented their work to some of the 27k+ visitors in attendance. This includes our unpublished data studying the interplay between nucleoporins and TDP-43 proteinopathy as well as employing bait oligonucleotides to disaggregate preformed, ontogenetically induced FUS and TDP-43 inclusions (as well as purified FUS and TDP-43). We also had the great pleasure of visiting with long standing colleagues and establishing new collaborations. Jake, a Chicago native, also showed us and the Sattler lab around the city after our annual lab dinner.
